A Loving Art Teacher, A Kid, and Some Thread
The woven bracelet we call a Viona was taught to our founder in 3rd grade by this incredible women in her brown shawl. The chain of events that happened 20 years later is something we could have never imagined.
In 2018, the Viona bracelet (somehow our founder remembered how to do it) was then taught to 25 women in the Dominican Republic to kickstart a mission called Vida Plena, with the purpose of breaking the cycle of poverty by empowering women. That mission today is now thriving, and now we are all one team.
